Drywall, Sheetrock, Plaster & Texture

Drywall / Sheetrock Installation

Installing drywall is best left to the pros. We can install, tape, float and finish sheet rock for any size project from 1 sheet to 500 sheets. We take care of small patches for remodel projects or install high volume for large commercial projects. We specialize in radius walls, curved ceilings, arched openings, hanging installations and taking on the most challenging of projects.

Textures & Smooth Wall finishes

Texture can be applied by spray, by knife or by roller. There are as many texture styles as there are stars in the sky. A very popular smooth finish known as “Imperfect Smooth Wall” or “Santa Barbara Style” can look completely different depending on where it was learned and the techniques used. That’s okay… We can match any style of texture or smooth wall finish. The art of blending the new with the old is the real trick of the trade and it’s what we do. We offer all texture styles including: Level 5 Smooth, imperfect smooth / Santa Barbara, knockdown, orange peel, stomp brush, grooved trowel and more..

plaster installation & repair

Lathe & plaster has been around for centuries. Plaster lines the walls of some of the oldest structures on earth. It cures extremely hard and can be difficult to match. We work with all types of plaster including Venetian Plaster, multi color & earthen clay techniques.

popcorn texture removal

There was a time when acoustic popcorn ceiling was being sprayed into every home in every neighborhood in America. That trend has thankfully passed and it left behind thousands of homes that now need popcorn texture removed. We have removed a lot of it and we know how difficult it can be. Usually popcorn texture was sprayed on so thick that the drywall finishers would often leave a very rough float finish since the popcorn would cover it all up. What a mess. Once the popcorn texture has been successfully removed you are left with a rough surface in need of repair before floating and either spray texture or smooth finishing. It can take a few coats of drywall mud and sanding to float the ceiling smooth enough for new texture.

We are very serious about protecting your home and the health of those you care about! Every project is planed down to the final detail before any work begins to minimize exposure and contamination. First we protect your entire floor by laying down Ramboard cardboard in the work space work and all the way to the entry points. Then we cover all furniture and belongings with drop cloths. Next we set up plastic zip walls and tape things up tight to contain all the dust and vapors inside the sealed work space. We use a portable dust and vapor collection system to draw in particles that can hang in the air and settle in your home. We also install temporary external filters over the return air ducts to keep your duct work from getting coated in dust. At the very end of every project we perform a final cleaning and replace all your return air filters. We don’t take any shortcuts with site protection and dust control.
